We get asked lots of questions about Scouting & Rosebud Scout Group
Let’s answer the FAQ’s first.

Who can join: Everyone. Male & Female youth from 5 to 18.
Adults can join in as occasional or regular helpers, committee members or leaders.

What do you do?
How long have you got? Camps, sleepovers, sailing, canoeing, visit other groups & the local community.
Whatever adventure the youth want to tackle…climbing, hiking, fishing…
Prepare for Adventure, Prepare for Life!!

When do you meet?
Depends on ages – there is some flexibility, but basically here’s how it works.
5-7+ years Rosebud Joey Scouts meet Wednesdays 5:30 to 6:30
8-10+ years Rosebud Cub Scouts meet Tuesdays 6:30 to 8pm
11-14+ yrs Rosebud Scouts meet Thursday nights 7-9pm
15-17+ yrs Double R Venturers meet Monday nights 7-9pm

What happens next?

When you come along, you’ll be asked to fill in a membership form. You’ll get 3 nights free to visit and see if it works for you (and us!!)
Then you will be sent an email to join up.
